Members

Addy is a wonderful recent addition to the club, recently stepping into the position of co-president with Kelly Braun at the beginning of 2024. She has been at many events and has been influential in getting new members to join the club. 

Kelly Braun is the current Delview Leos co-president for the 2023-24 Leo year along with Addy Hebden, and has been an active founding member of the club since it's beginnings in September 2022. She enjoys volunteering and serving her community and is an active leader in making change happen in her neighbourhood and in the world.

Joshua Thoreson is the current secretary for the Delview Leos Club and one of the founding members, joining in September 2022. He is  involved in almost everything in his school community and regularly takes part in volunteering and service events to improve his community.

Kookie Sethi was the first Leo President, running during the 2022-23 Leo year and currently holds the position of Former Leo President. She started the Delview Leos Club in September of 2022 and continues to have an impact in building her community into a better place with a focus on improving the world through leadership and service.

Danishta is a wonderful member of the Delview Leos Club, joining in 2023 with a passion for serving others. Recently, Danishta stepped into the position of Communications Director, getting important events posted on Google Classroom and more.

Sandy Valencia is an active member of the Delview Leos Club, joining in October 2023. Sandy has been very involved in her school community as a grade 12, and is excited to pursue new opportunities through serving in the Leos Club! She recently stepped into the position of Marketing Director for the Leos, and has been extremely influential in creating posters, getting the word out into the community, organizing class visits, and more!

Moxie Mikkelsen is a member of the Delview Leos Club, joining in April 2022. Ever since joining, Moxie has helped out with a lot of different events, such as helping bake for the Delview Bake Sale and contributing to support the Leos at the MD19 Convention Panel. Moxie is already quite involved in her Delview community and will hopefully continue to contribute to the greater impact the Delview Leos Club is making in our community. Recently Moxie stepped up as our Social Media Director, with co-responsibilities with Miffy Shan. They have both helped out with social posts on Instagram, getting new members to join the Leos!

Gray Edgington is a grade 10 student at Delview commited to making their community a much better place. They are involved in a lot of clubs and was one of the founding members of the Delview Leos Club, as an active member and social media chairperson, promoting leadership and service. Jay Sethi is the founding Lion Advisor for the Delview Leos Club, starting up the club with his daughter, Kookie Sethi, to create the first Leos Club in Delta. As a member of the Surrey Central Lions Club since January of 2011, Jay has been very active in serving his community through many events,  raising funds for various organizations in the community such as food banks, Guide Dogs, CMHC, homeless shelters and more. He proudly serves the under-served in his community and works towards youth empowerment and visually challenged people, and through his contributions to the Delview Leos he has been influential in helping the club get to where they are and connecting them with the Lions.

Mr. Jeffrey Stuart is a Socials and English teacher at Delview Secondary who commits his time to helping out in the school community in any way possible. He not only is the school staff member that contributes to the club's function, but also is active in participating in the club's events and is always happy to help the club in any way possible.

Maria is an active member of the Delview Leos, joining prior to 2024. She has been influential in advertising and putting up poster schoolwide to encourage participation in events with Shayne, and has been a key member of the Delview Leos, attending many events and has a passion for serving others.

Shayne is an active member of the Delview Leos Club, joining just before 2024. Shayne has been influential in putting up posters with Maria and has been in charge of photography for many events! Shayne is active in her school community and enjoys volunteering with the Delview Leos.

Miffy Shan is a newer and active member of the Delview Leos Club, joining in September 2023. Miffy has been involved in quite a few events in the club, such as baking to raise funds in the bake sale and going to support the FH Leos at the MD19 Convention Leo Panel Speeches! We hope Miffy will continue her involvement in the club and make a greater impact in her community through volunteering and serving our neighbourhood.

Daniel Chen is an active member to the Delview Leos Club, joining on September 11th, 2023, and has been attending almost every event since joining, helping out with events like the Leos Tree Planting at Bear Creek Park, the Leos MD19 Carnival, the Grade 8 Scavenger Hunt, Clubs Day, and more! We hope Daniel will continue to volunteer through the Leos club and have many opportunities to contribute to a larger community impact.

Veronica is a new and active member of the Delview Leos Club, joining in September 2023 and before she even came to her first meeting, she was already helping out with Spaghetti Dinners at Tynehead Hall in Surrey. She has been involved ever since, and has helped out with important events like the Grade 8 Scavenger hunt, and will hopefully continue to have a passion for volunteering with the Leos in the future!

Prabhdeep is a newer member in our Delview Leos Club, and she joined in October 2020. Prabhdeep is already very involved in her Delview community, and has so far helped out the Delview Leos through their fundraising events such as the recent Bake Sale and will continue to help out in any way possible!

Manahil is a newer member to the Delview Leos Club, joining in September 2023.
