The Delview Leos hosted an incredible ramen fundraiser on February 22nd, raising almost $100 in profits and not even selling out!
This was a huge help in understanding what we can improve on as a club, as many people gave us extremely helpful tips on what things we should do next time!
Although the event had not been done before in Delview, hundreds of youth raced to the front of the library to get their ramen bowl and donate their money towards supporting youth mental health.
For this event, we decided that the proceeds would go towards a charity suggested by one of our members, Asian Together, a smaller organization committed to supporting youth through mental health volunteering.
Thanks to everyone who supported us! Give us ideas on what we should do next time, but we have taken your suggestions and tips and are excited to support our community through you supporting us!
Our marketing director, Sandy Valencia, was in charge of making the posters and getting the event out to the public, and did a wonderful job with that, as well as all of our Leos that helped run the event, through setup, marketing, funds, and more!
