The Delview Leos Club hosted it's 1st Spring Cleanup @ Delview Park this May, collecting thousands of trash items and making the park spotless, inviting all Delview students to participate in the fun! Not only were they helping out the community by cleaning up trash in the park, but they were also competing against one another to win a spring goodie basket and the title of the first Delview Spring Cleanup Competition winners! The winnning team was Delview students Kristie & Kassie Lind and Diane Valencia, filling up 2 large bags in just over an hour!
Everyone who participated was rewarded with some goodies and the achievement of a completely trashless Delview Park, filled instead with the love poured out by all of the volunteers and staff participating in the event.
Next year the Delview Leos plans to have this same event, so come out and help if you can!
